Get Album tags from Web
Using this command you can get tags for an entire album from an online compact disc database (CDDB). But to do this you need to have all the tracks from the album and to arrange them in the order in which they go on the original compact disk.
CDDB uses DiskId to identify an album. DiscId is calculated on the basis of information about tracks’ durations on the disc, taking into account the order of the tracks. Separate tags or incomplete albums can not be found in a CDDB.
Before you perform this command, you must select all tracks from an album in the Tags table. If you have an opened folder that contains only mp3-files belonging to one album, then you do not need to select tracks because TagJet automatically selects the first 100 tracks if no track has been selected.
You can call "Get Album tags from Web" command from the "Edit tag" menu, from the main toolbar or use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+D to do it. In this case you see the following dialog window:

The "Present Tracks" table contains tracks that you have chosen. For them DiskId is formed and album search is performed. If the tracks are not in the same order as on the original disk, then you have to reorder them. To do this, you can sort tracks by content of any column or move some rows.
To sort by columns content you should make a right click on a columns header. The context menu appears in which you can choose to sort in ascending or descending order. The sorted column contains an icon in the shape of a triangle. If it is directed upward then the column is sorted in ascending order, if downward then in descending order.

To move rows make a right click on a header of any row. The context menu appears and you can select moving rows up or down. The selected rows are always moved. If no row is selected then the string that contains the cell cursor (black frame) is automatically selected. (See Selection in "Present Tracks" table.)

To move rows you can also use shortcuts Ctrl+J (move rows up) and Ctrl+K (move rows down). It is faster and more convenient.
Columns in the "Present Tracks" table also can be moved. To do this, press and hold Alt key, then make a left click on the header of the column which you want to move and, holding the mouse button, drag the header to the desired position. The new position of the column is displayed as a bold blue marker. When you release the mouse button the column will be moved.

After you have arranged the tracks in the "Present Tracks" table, click the Get button to get information about the album. Getting the information may take some time, depending on the speed of your Internet connection and the database server loading. You can stop receiving data by clicking the Stop button.

If the data were obtained successfully then you will see information about all found albums in the "Found Albums" table. If nothing was found then you will see the message "No match found" in the Album cell of the first row.

Sometimes few albums can be found. In this case, you can choose the most suitable one. The first found album is marked in the table as the current one (the row with its description contains the cell cursor).
Information on the current album is displayed in the "Found Tracks" table.
TagJet receives at once the data of the first found album from CDDB. If you move the cell cursor to another album then another request is made to the database to get its data. The obtained data of an album are cached to avoid unnecessary database queries. Cached data are deleted when you close the dialog window.
When you click the Apply button, data from the "Found Tracks" table are used to fill the tags, which are displayed in the "Present Tracks" table. Filling is performed based on the position. This means that data from the first row of the "Found Tracks" table are written to the tag from the first row of the "Present Tracks" table and so on.
All fields that are selected in the "Present Tracks" table (they are highlighted in gray color) are considered as read-only and they do not get new values when you click the Apply button.
Pay attention that some fields on the first picture above are gray, so they are read-only, and on the picture below they are empty, because they did not get new values.

Special treatment of selected fields allows you to assign values of found tags selectively, that may be required if your existing tags are already partially filled.
If you click the Cancel button then the dialog is closed and no tags are changed.
In the "Found Tracks" table you can also move columns. To do this, make a left click on the header of the column which you want to move, and holding the mouse button, drag the column to the desired position. The new position of the column is displayed as a bold blue marker. When you release the mouse button, the column will be moved.

In the Server combo box you can choose a CDDB in which to search album information.

Selection in "Present Tracks" table
To select a row make a left click on its header, the entire row will be colored in gray. If you want to select several rows in succession then make a left click on the header of the first or last row you want to select and holding the mouse button pressed, drag the cursor up or down until all the desired rows are selected. If you hold the Shift key pressed while a left click on a rows header, then all rows between this string and the string with the cell cursor are selected. Hold down the Ctrl key to select a row without deselection of already selected rows. Thus you can select an arbitrary set of rows.
Exactly in the same way you can select columns making a left click on columns’ headers.
To select groups of cells the same principles are used. To select a rectangular region of cells make a left click on one of the cells and without releasing the mouse button move the cursor in the right direction until all desired cells are selected. Selected cells are colored in gray. When you have selected the entire region release the mouse button. If you hold the Shift key pressed while a left click on a cell, then all cells between this one and the cell with the cell cursor are selected. If you hold the Ctrl key pressed while a left click on a cell, then this cell is selected without deselection of already selected cells. Thus you can select an arbitrary set of cells.
